This nozzle assembly fits the Kirby Generation 5 and is sold less brush and belt, part number 141697S. You get the housing that carries the brushroll, the belt path and the bottom plate.
A nozzle rarely fails all at once. It takes a knock, develops a crack you do not see, and over the following months the head starts to rock slightly, the belt runs off center, and carpet stops coming up as clean as it used to. Air leaking along that cracked seam is doing the damage. Suction that should be pulling at the carpet is instead pulling at the room.
It is a G5 part. Transfer the brushroll and belt over during the swap, and take the chance to clear the hair wrapped at the roller ends while everything is apart.
