We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 556214 is the black rear wheel used across a long run of Kirby uprights, from the Generation machines through to the Avalir series. It mounts on the rear axle, carries the back of the vacuum and sets how the base meets the floor.
These are heavy machines, so the rear wheels take a beating and wear in ways you feel before you see them. There is drag on carpet, a wobble on hard floor, a thump each time the flat spot comes round. Any crack running out from the hub is reason to change the wheel straight away.
It fits the Kirby Generation 3, G4, G5 and G6 along with the Avalir, Avalir 2 and Avalir Platinum. Fit it to the axle, check it turns freely, and change both sides together so the machine sits square.
