Product details

Attachment grip for the Kirby Sentria II, part 225112. It is the handle at the tool end of the hose - the part you actually hold while doing stairs or upholstery, and the socket every wand and nozzle plugs into.

Grips take more abuse than most attachments because they are what hits the floor when the hose is dropped. A cracked grip is unpleasant in the hand and, worse, it leaks: air enters at the split rather than through the tool, so cleaning power falls away at exactly the point you are working. A worn socket also lets wands wobble and pull free part way through a stroke.

This is the Sentria II grip. Kirby's grips look similar from model to model, so check the badge on the machine rather than matching it against a photograph.
