The SEBO Locking Rod bag holder fits X series and G series vacuums and holds the dust bag housing closed, keeping the bag seated and the compartment sealed while the machine runs. It is the genuine retaining rod for these models.
A rod that has lost tension or become distorted lets the housing rattle loose, which breaks the seal around the bag and bleeds off suction along with airborne dust. Fitting the correct OEM rod re-secures the door and returns a clean, sealed airway.
