We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. When a Duo brush machine will not turn its brushes at all and the belts, pulleys and gears have already been ruled out, the motor is what remains. Part 3049ER is SEBO's 120 V replacement for the Duo, and it arrives with the pulley already fitted, so the drive can be rebuilt without transferring anything across from the old unit or hunting for a puller.
The Duo parts diagram lists the motor at position 34, with the terminal block 0502 at 33 and the locking washer 0141 at 35 either side of it, and the 3 mm drive belt 3038 close by at position 37. Motors end in one of three ways: carbon brushes worn down to the spring, a winding that has burnt, or bearings that have run dry. The warning signs overlap - a hot smell after a short run, hard or hesitant starting, a machine that hums without moving. Since this is the most substantial single component in the machine, confirm the diagnosis before ordering. Where the fault is only worn brushes, SEBO lists a carbon brush set with capacitor, part 05084S, specified for this very motor, and that is the smaller repair. Where the motor genuinely has to come out, inspect the belt path and pulleys while access is good.
