We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This three-pack of flat belts, part 030-0604, covers Oreck XL upright vacuums. A drive belt is a wear item on any upright in regular use, and on a machine that runs daily it will come round again, which is the whole argument for buying three at once. Fit one today and the other two sit ready for the next two changes.
Oreck's XL uprights drive the brush roll straight off the motor pulley through a single flat belt, with no gearbox to absorb slack, so a stretched belt shows itself quickly. The roller loses speed as soon as it meets resistance instead of holding a constant pace, grooming turns uneven across a single pass, and a belt slipping hard puts off the burnt-rubber smell most vacuum owners already know on sight. Cracking on the inner face, the surface that rides the pulley, means the belt is close to failing even before it starts to slip.
Coverage runs across the Oreck XL upright line, including the U2740RD and the U3620HH, U3700HH and U3770HH. Swapping one takes only a few minutes with the base plate removed, which is the entire reason to hold two spares rather than order belts one at a time.
