We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The auto-load cap that closes the solution tank on Bissell ProHeat and Clearview PowerSteamer carpet cleaners, sold under part number 2140710. It seats on the tank collar and holds the seal that lets the machine draw cleaning solution without pulling air in alongside it.
Caps take a beating. They get twisted on and off at every fill, dropped in the sink, and left soaking in hot solution. When the plastic cracks or the seal flattens you see solution weeping down the side of the tank, a puddle under the machine after it has stood a while, or a trigger that sputters because the pickup is drawing air instead of liquid.
It fits ProHeat and PowerSteamer models including the 1697, 1698, 1699-1, 1694-3, 7901, 7920, 7950, 8804, 8805, 8806, 8910 and 9E00. Check the number on your machine's rating plate before ordering, as Bissell used several tank designs across this range.
