Bissell Auto Mix Knob - 169...

$6.99

Product details

The auto-mix knob is the dial on a Bissell ProHeat that sets how much formula goes into the water on its way to the carpet. Part 2105108 replaces it when the knob itself is what has failed.

Knobs crack around the shaft or strip out inside, and once that happens the dial turns freely without changing anything. You set it to heavy and the machine keeps laying down plain water, or it sticks on one setting no matter which way you turn it. A knob that spins straight past its stops is the giveaway.

It fits the ProHeat and ClearView PowerSteamer 1620, 1697, 1698, 1699-1, 7901, 7920, 7950 and 8910. Fitting it is straightforward once the panel is off, and it is worth checking the mixing assembly underneath while you are in there, since a knob that has been forced often means something below it has seized.
