Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

SEBO designates this one the 5 mm belt. Part 3042 sits at position 54 of the Duo parts diagram, deep in the gear group between the pulley 3013 at 53 and the left-hand-thread gear wheel 3022 at 55, and it is a different item from the 3 mm belt listed separately for the same machine. Ordering by width rather than by number is where most mistakes happen, so take the part number from the diagram.
The symptoms build slowly enough to be easy to miss. First the belt stretches and starts to slip under load, so the brush loses speed only when it meets resistance. Then the running face glazes and stops gripping the pulley grooves at all. In the end the brush is barely turning while the motor sounds perfectly healthy, which is exactly the combination that sends people looking for a fault in the wrong half of the machine. Anyone already stripping the drive to reach the pulleys, the gear wheels or the bearing blocks should renew the belt while it is off the machine, because getting back in later costs far more time than the belt itself. Keeping one in the toolbox turns a dead machine into a short job rather than a wait.
