This OEM Hoover agitator end cap wheel fits Hoover models 91, 913, and 918. The end cap wheel mounts on the end of the brush roll, capping the agitator and riding against the nozzle to help set the roll's height over the floor.
As the end cap wheel wears flat or cracks, the brush roll can drop or chatter, throwing off bristle contact and letting the agitator run rough. A fresh end cap wheel re-seats the roll at its correct height so the bristles meet the carpet evenly and turn quietly.
