We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The brush that slips into the tip of a Kirby crevice tool is a wear item, and this pack replaces it five times over. Part 226157S (also listed as K-226157) is the genuine Kirby crevice tool brush insert, sold here as a five-pack so there are spares on the shelf for years of service.
The insert is what turns the crevice tool into a dusting tool: its bristle collar grips inside the nozzle end and gives gentle bristle action along blinds, vents, sills and upholstery seams. Bristles flatten and splay with use, and a worn insert stops gripping inside the tool and starts falling out — the usual reason anyone goes looking for this number.
Kirby has kept the crevice tool consistent for decades, so the same brush fits machines from the 505 through the 560 series, the Classic and Tradition line, the Sanitronic and Heritage models, Legend and Legend II, Generation 3 through G6, Ultimate G, Diamond Edition, Sentria and Avalir.
