We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 175003G is the complete handle fork assembly for the Kirby Diamond Edition, cataloged under Kirby's Diamond / Gen-7 designation. The fork is the structural link between the handle and the body of the machine.
Everything you do with a Kirby goes through this joint. Push, pull, tip the machine back, drag it up a flight of stairs by the handle: the fork carries all of it, and eventually it shows. Cracks open around the pivot and the fixings, the handle develops play, and the machine begins to wander rather than going where you steer it. A fork that has broken through is not repairable in any way you would want to trust with the weight of the machine.
Replacing the whole assembly puts the handle joint back to how it should feel. Confirm your machine is a Diamond Edition before ordering; forks changed between Kirby generations and do not interchange.
