This genuine OEM Kirby motor housing (part #100196S) includes the tolerance ring and fits the Kirby G3 and AVALIR (AV2) generations. The housing surrounds and supports the motor, setting its alignment and helping direct cooling airflow.
A cracked or worn motor housing lets the motor shift, which raises noise and vibration and shortens motor life. A compromised housing can also disrupt the cooling path around the motor. Manufactured to factory specifications with the tolerance ring, this housing restores a precise, quiet motor fit.
