We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 58-3400-01 is the replacement brush roll for Oreck upright vacuums, the full-length roller with the bristle strips that agitates carpet as the machine passes over it.
Bristles wear round and short with use, and a roller can look intact while doing very little. The test is simple: run a fingernail along the bristle row in the middle of the roller and compare it with the strip nearest the end caps, which sees the least floor contact. If the working length is visibly shorter, agitation has gone, and the machine will leave grit and pet hair in the pile no matter how good the suction is. Hair wound tight at the ends adds drag and eventually takes the bearings with it.
It fits a broad run of Oreck uprights, among them the U2000E, U2000HH, U2200HHS, U2310RD, U2510RH, U2650HHR, U3120HH, U3700HH and U3771HH, plus the RU2240HHS.
