We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This is the 14.5 inch brush roll for ProTeam ProForce 1500 series uprights, part 104216. It is the agitator that beats carpet pile loose ahead of the suction, and it decides whether the machine actually cleans carpet or merely runs over it.
Brush rolls wear out in a way that is easy to miss, because it happens evenly. The bristles shorten until they no longer reach into the pile, and the machine keeps sounding perfectly normal while pickup quietly halves. Lay a straightedge across the brush strip: if the bristles no longer stand proud of the roll body, it is finished. End bearings that rumble, or a roll that will not spin freely by hand, are the other reasons to change it.
Clear hair and string from the roll regularly and it will last considerably longer. It fits the ProForce 1500, 1500XP, 15XP and ProForce 1500 HEPA.
