This complete red bag housing assembly (Part #DM28) is the chamber that holds the filtration bag inside your canister vacuum, including the matching lid. It is built for the Perfect DM102 and the Clean Obsessed CO203 canister vacuums, two machines that share the same bag-compartment design.
The housing is the cradle the dust bag seats into, and the lid seals the compartment so the vacuum can pull a strong, leak-free vacuum through the bag. A cracked housing or a lid with a broken latch or worn seal lets air bypass the bag, reducing suction. Replacing it as a complete unit ensures the housing and lid fit and seal correctly.
