This genuine SEBO Brush Cover Release (dark gray) fits the Automatic X2 upright. It is the latch that secures the brush roller cover on the underside of the power head and lets you open the cover for routine cleaning.
The release is worked every time the cover comes off, and a cracked catch or worn spring tab will let the cover pop loose in use or refuse to close flush. A cover that will not seat exposes the roller and lets debris escape past the brush. A new release restores a clean, secure latch.
