Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This cogged replacement belt, part 12-1400-02, fits the Dyson DC25 upright and measures 5/16 inch wide by 2-1/4 inch, matching the original belt's dimensions. Its toothed profile locks onto the brush motor's pulley so the brush bar turns at full speed instead of slipping under load.

A geared belt like this one grips its pulley teeth-to-teeth rather than relying on friction alone, which is why it holds up better than a smooth stretch belt under the heat and tension a running vacuum puts on it.
