Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

This is a single replacement inlet valve, the SuperValve full-door style, finished in almond. The hinged door covers the entire opening when the hose is disconnected, closing off dust and drafts more completely than a smaller flap-style door leaves exposed. Like the rest of Hayden's SuperValve line, it is a dual-voltage inlet: low-voltage contacts signal the power unit to start the moment a hose seats, and a built-in 110V receptacle feeds a direct-connect electric hose, so a powered nozzle needs no separate pigtail cord to a wall outlet.

The flange is reversible, which means the mounting plate can be flipped so the door hinges from either side depending on how the inlet sits relative to nearby trim, a doorway, or furniture. That flexibility matters more than it sounds: an inlet with the door swinging the wrong way can catch on a baseboard or block a hose insertion angle in a tight corner.

Decide the hinge orientation before mounting the rough-in plate rather than after, since the reversible flange is meant to be set once at install rather than flipped repeatedly. Test the swing against the final wall layout, including any baseboard or door swing nearby, before the plate is screwed down for good.

A valve that starts sagging on its hinge or no longer closing flush is worth replacing outright rather than propping, since a gap at the door means the same slow suction loss as a cracked bucket or a leaking pipe joint elsewhere in the system. Listed under SKU 33207.
