This Hoover Quadraflex power-nozzle flat belt (Part #FB011) is the replacement for Hoover Style 011 and drives the brushroll inside the Quadraflex power nozzle. It transfers turning force from the nozzle's drive shaft to the agitator brush, the part that beats embedded dirt and pet hair up out of carpet so the canister's suction can pull it away.
A power-nozzle belt that has stretched or cracked lets the brushroll slow down or stop, and that is the usual reason a Quadraflex nozzle suddenly stops cleaning carpet well. Fitting a fresh FB011 restores correct brush speed and full agitation. Built to the original Style 011 dimensions, it seats cleanly on the pulleys without slipping.
