This is a replacement power nozzle brush roll cover for Hoover WindTunnel canister vacuums. The cover is the underside plate that snaps over the agitator (brush roll) on the power head, holding the roll in its bearings and protecting it while directing airflow across the brush for thorough deep-pile cleaning.
A cracked or missing brush roll cover lets the agitator shift, allows debris into the nozzle housing, and can stop the brush from spinning correctly. This Hoover replacement restores a secure fit and proper carpet agitation.
