This Hoover WindTunnel flat belt (Part #38-3126-03) is the Style 033 drive belt, which also serves as the replacement for Hoover Style 058. It runs from the motor shaft to the brushroll on Hoover WindTunnel upright vacuums, spinning the agitator brush that loosens embedded dirt, sand, and pet hair so the WindTunnel suction path can carry it into the bag or bin.
When a WindTunnel stops grooming carpet or the brushroll won't turn, a stretched, glazed, or broken belt is the usual culprit. Installing a fresh 033/058 flat belt restores correct brush speed and full agitation. This belt is made to the original Hoover dimensions so it seats cleanly on the pulleys without slipping or squealing.
