The Lamb Ametek 116136 central vacuum motor (SKU 203M) is a three-stage, 220-240 volt Ametek original supplied brand new — no rebuilds. It powers various central vacuum brands and models and serves as the replacement for the 116117 motor. If the label on your motor shows 6136 or 11-6136, this is the correct part.

Rated for roughly 900-1,200 hours of operation. Common end-of-life signs: the mini breaker pops repeatedly, an electrical smell develops, blue sparks show at the motor top, or the motor cuts out and comes back later. Fitting the new motor means removing three bolts and reconnecting a couple of wires. Carbon brushes are replaceable on the 116136 — order two 116136 motor brushes to service a motor proactively.
