A scrubber-drier only stays walk-ready as long as its squeegee blades hold their edge. Once the rubber nicks, hardens, or rounds off, water stops funneling cleanly into the suction slot and the floor is left streaked or damp behind the machine. Because both bars wear at a similar rate, replacing the set together brings the LW38 back to an even, edge-to-edge dry pass rather than mixing a new blade with a worn one.
