Finishing work on an LW52 Flexy calls for the soft white pad. Part 184690081 supplies a matched pair, about 0.2 kg each, so both drive plates buff at the same rate, and the pads fit the LW44 Flexy too.
Soft is the only grade in this range with no scrubbing role. It is there to bring gloss back up on sealed, polished or otherwise finished hard floors and to clear the light haze that settles on them, which is why it is run as the last pass after a red or green pad has done the cleaning, or on its own between deep cleans.
A polishing pad fails quietly. It fills with the residue it lifts, and once the face is loaded it burnishes less with every pass, so the floor comes up flatter rather than the pad looking spent. Swap in the fresh pair when the shine stops holding.
The pads mount on Lindhaus pad drivers, which are ordered separately. Store spares flat and dry, and keep them off any surface carrying grit, since a polishing pad that has picked up a hard particle will mark the next floor it runs on.
