The Axis Glide Plate (SKU 402ARFP) is the accessory that lets the MD Axis floor brush move beyond bare floors. On its own, Axis is a hard-surface tool — snap this plate onto the bottom of the brush and the bristles are covered, letting the head travel smoothly over rugs and low-pile carpet.
Installation is tool-free: the plate clips straight onto the underside of the Axis head and comes off just as quickly when you want bristle contact back for tile, wood, or other hard flooring.
