Product details
Nadair's central vacuum power units rely on a control board to translate a low-voltage signal from the wall inlets into motor start and stop commands, and this board is built for four specific Nadair models: 65932, 71032, 75022, and 75032. When that board degrades, the motor itself is often still fine, but the unit stops answering the house.
Typical failure signs include a power unit that will not start at all, one that cycles on and off with no hose plugged in anywhere, or one that runs nonstop once switched on at the breaker. A board that has developed a marginal, temperature-dependent fault can also produce an intermittent pattern, working fine when the canister is cool and failing once the unit has run for a while and warmed up. Swapping the board costs a fraction of a new power unit and restores full control from every inlet in the house.
Before ordering, pull the old board and compare its connector count and mounting pattern against the replacement, so any mismatch in connectors or mounting shows up before the old wiring comes off. Note the position and gauge of each wire before disconnecting so the new board goes in with the same terminal assignments.
Always disconnect the power unit from its outlet before opening the canister, and let the unit sit for a few minutes afterward before handling internal components.
