    Returns & Exchanges

    Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

    Return eligibility

    Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

    For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

    The Perfect AT-4873 central vacuum power nozzle kit pairs an electric power nozzle with a 35-foot crush-proof hose wired for direct connect, sending power to the nozzle through the wall inlet and hose handle rather than a separate plug-in cord.

    The extra 5 feet over the 30-foot version gives real breathing room in larger rooms and longer hallways, letting one inlet cover more floor before you have to move to a different valve. Crush-proof construction keeps the hose from flattening as it drags around furniture and doorframes on that longer run, which is exactly where a standard hose is most likely to choke off airflow.

    Direct-connect only works with inlets wired to carry current through the valve itself; if your system's inlets are not set up that way, the pigtail version of this same 35-foot kit draws power from a nearby outlet instead. Before ordering, confirm your existing hose plugs into the wall valve with the same style of contacts rather than a corded plug, since mixing the two wiring styles is the most common reason a replacement kit will not power the nozzle.

    As with any power nozzle, check the brushroll periodically for tangled hair or thread wrapped around the spindle, since a jammed brushroll strains the nozzle motor even when the hose and wiring are working correctly.
