Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The direct-connect version of Plastiflex's 35 foot silver central vacuum hose wires its electric power nozzle circuit straight into the wall inlet rather than out through a separate plug-in cord. Dual-voltage refers to the two circuits built into the hose: standard household power for the power nozzle motor, and a low-voltage line carrying the on and off signal from the handle switch.

Direct-connect and pigtail hoses are not interchangeable, since their end fittings and internal wiring paths differ, so this hose fits only central vacuum inlets and power units built for direct-connect wiring. This listing carries no verified compatibility data by system or brand name, so measure your current hose's diameter and confirm your inlet valve is the direct-connect type before ordering, particularly if you are matching an older installation rather than replacing a hose of the identical part.

Replacing a direct-connect hose is usually driven by wear at the flex points, a hose that no longer holds an airtight seal along its accordion folds, or a power nozzle that has stopped turning on because the wiring inside the hose wall has broken or shorted.
