This Royal flat drive belt (Part #1598260000) is the replacement belt for the Royal power nozzle, the motorized floor head used on Royal canister vacuum systems. The belt transfers power from the power nozzle motor to the brushroll so the agitator spins and combs dirt and pet hair out of carpet pile.
Sized as a genuine Royal flat belt, it delivers the proper tension and brushroll speed the power nozzle needs for effective deep cleaning. A stretched or broken belt leaves the motor running while the brush sits still, so cleaning drops off sharply until the belt is replaced.
