The VacuFlo valve stem extension (Part #5018W) is a 4-3/4 inch stem that extends a central vacuum inlet valve outward to reach the finished wall surface. It is the part you need when the rough-in tubing sits deeper in the wall than usual, such as installations over thick plaster, tile, paneling, or built-up wall assemblies.
By bridging the gap between the in-wall fitting and the inlet valve, this white extension keeps the valve flush and properly seated so the spring-loaded door closes correctly and the airtight seal is maintained. It is a genuine VacuFlo component sized to fit standard VacuFlo inlet valves and tubing.
